1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cooked ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Cooked iOS mobile application or the cookedfocus.com website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Cooked is a digital focus and productivity tool designed to help users minimize smartphone distractions by enforcing temporary application locks and utilizing social accountability (allowing a trusted friend to review and unlock early exit requests).
3. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
Cooked may offer optional premium features and auto-renewing subscriptions ("Cooked Pro").
- Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancellation & Refunds:You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone Account Settings. Refunds are governed exclusively by Apple's standard App Store refund policies.
4. Acceptable Use & User Responsibility
You agree to use Cooked solely for personal, lawful productivity purposes. You acknowledge that you voluntarily initiate app restrictions on your device and understand the mechanics of the accountability unlock. We provide an emergency unlock option and encourage responsible usage.
5. Apple Licensed Application End User Agreement
These Terms incorporate Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). To the extent of any conflict, the terms of the Standard EULA provided by Apple Inc. shall govern: Apple Standard EULA.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. In no event shall Cooked be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or inability to use the service.
